New Tech Opens the World for Evelina

Evelina is Nataliya’s whole world. 

“I devoted my life to supporting my only and most precious child,” she says. When Nataliya learned her daughter had cerebral palsy, she resolved that no diagnosis would hold her back. She and a dedicated team of teachers and the Ternopil sponsor site staff have seen Evelina grow into a curious, eloquent, and ambitious young woman. 

“She is interested in languages and is planning to become a teacher,” Nataliya says. With her sponsor’s support, Evelina is studying in a teacher’s college, and they both share a dream that she will build a career teaching and translating online.

The catch was, she didn’t have a computer.

Nataliya could not afford a laptop for her daughter, especially one with the accessibility features Evelina needed.
