We’re not ‘kidding’ – the Good News Goats are here!

Everyone loves goats! We know that many of you have traditions of giving the mischievous creatures through our gift catalogue, even if sometimes as playful punishments. Families in our sites love them too: they’re climate resilient, easy to feed, and multiply quickly.

Here at Chalice, we thought: why not more goats?

And so, we introduce you to the Good News Goats of 2025!

In this year’s Christmas gift catalogue, we’ve brought in 13 adorable new goat characters — one for each country we serve.

Each character represents their country’s most requested items from the gift catalogue. For example, Ukraine’s goat, Muzy, is a hip music teacher with a bandura; Ukraine’s most requested items are teaching supplies and musical instruments.

In that sense, each goat is GOAT (that’s ‘greatest of all time’ for non-sports-fans) for their country’s gift catalogue needs.

Each Good News Goat is $50, and with that gift, you can send a special animated e-card for that goat or send a paper card with an adorable sticker (when postal service is available). Your donation will go to the items your chosen goat embodies.
