Helping others during the pandemic

At our Pochaiv site in Ukraine, many parents of sponsored childen have sewing skills they obtained from life skills classes at our site. In light of the recent pandemic, some parents and community members have become volunteers for their local hospitals, and are working to sew independent gauze face masks for health care workers. "Today, these sewing machines are invaluable," says Halyna, our site director.
