Welcome new Chalice Team Member
Please welcome Robenson Louijeune to the Chalice family! Robenson has joined Father Charles’ team at Institution Saint Dominique in Titanyen where he will work as Chalice Site Director and as a teacher of English and Volleyball!
Robenson previously worked as a Program Assistant with the United Nations MINUSTAH Gender Unit, as Reconstruction Project Assistant with Caritas and as Operations Coordinator for the United Methodist Committee on Relief – Haiti. Robenson has also taught English, French, Creole, and Haitian history and culture through the International Creole Institute since 2003. Passionate about Volleyball, he is the founder and President of Soleil Volleyball League serving 1200 youth in the Port-au-Prince area.
Last week, Robenson traveled to the Haiti North Site with Father Charles, Daphnee, and Wilbine to receive training from Edley. As expected, Edley did a wonderful job! Saint Dominique Staff returned to Titanyen with lots of knowledge about Chalice programs…and, of course, their 2019/2020 budget prepared!
We look forward to working with Robenson in service to the children of Saint Dominique and to seeing the growth of the Site as we go forward together.
