Joseph

Joseph is an energetic six-year-old boy from Serenje, Zambia. He is in Grade 1 and loves math, where he enjoys solving problems and learning new skills. In his free time, Joseph likes to play soccer and is always full of energy. When he grows up, he dreams of becoming a military officer so he can serve and protect others. Joseph’s mother has passed away, and he is cared for by his grandfather, who has ongoing health issues. His oldest sister helps support the family financially. Joseph lives with his grandfather, two brothers, and five sisters in a close-knit household. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
