Harani

Harani is a 14-year-old girl from Naidupuram, India. She is in grade 7 and loves language arts classes. She enjoys singing, dancing, and drawing. When she grows up, Harani hopes to become a police officer. She studies hard and dreams of building a better future where she can support her family. Harani lives in a sheet metal home with her mother and grandmother. Her mother suffered severe burns in a stove explosion and now struggles with poor health, making it difficult for her to work. Harani’s grandmother does small housekeeping jobs to earn a modest income, but it is not enough to meet the family’s needs. Sponsorship would help Harani continue her education and pursue her dreams. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
